The mission of the Asian Institute of Health Care Hospice, Access Professional and Nursing Care Center and Hospiceasia.org is to promote the development and delivery of the highest quality end-of-life care through advocacy of hospice philosophy and provide the resources which will enhance the dignity of life for the terminally ill, their families and caregivers.

Hospice affirms life. Hospice exists to provide support and care for persons in the last phases of incurable diseases so the might live as fully and comfortably as possible. Hospice recognizes dying as a normal process whether or not resulting from disease. Hospice neither hastens nor postpones death. Hospice believes that, through appropriate care and promotion of a caring community sensitive to their needs, patients and families may be able to attain mental and spiritual preparation for death in a manner satisfactory to them.

Hospice believes the end to life can be a meaningful and special time for patients and loved ones. For those with terminal illness, Hospice provides the treatment and care necessary for their physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being, either at home or in a home-like setting
